Fruit trees successfully planted

The first five of more than one hundred new trees were planted today at Sheaf Valley Park. We planted, Cherry, Damson and Gage, which will not only look beautiful when they are in blossom and be seen from the city centre, but will also provide us with fruit in years to come! Look out for more events at the park soon. It was hard work as you can’t dig down very far before hitting bricks and stones, presumably the remains of the old terraced houses that used to be there.
